FanPost Friday: Most memorable game that had nothing to do with the game

For things that didn’t take place on the field

This week 21,248 fans got to see the first benches clearing brawl in Coors Field in a long time. Surely most, if not all, of these people will end up remembering the game not for the 6-3 Rockies victory, but for Nolan Arenado charging at Luis Perdomo and the melee that ensued. This got me thinking:

What is the most memorable game you ever attended that had nothing to do with the game itself?

Perhaps you were present for another benches clearing brawl, or there was a number of streakers that climbed onto the field. Maybe it was an infestation of bees or squirrels or rabid raccoons that made the game memorable for you. Tell us all about the game, why you remember it, and why we should remember it as well. (You can also use this opportunity to tell your story about Wednesday’s game, if you were in attendance).

Write up a FanPost (if you’ve never done one here are a couple handy guides for you) and tell us all about it. Make sure to include “FPF” in the title and we will post some of our favorites on the front page next week.
