Rico Garcia earned his second win of the season after throwing a career-high seven scoreless innings against the Lake Elsinore Storm as the Lancaster JetHawks cruised to a 7-0 victory. The 2016 30th round draft pick out of Honolulu also allowed five hits and two walks while striking out a career-high seven batters. Other notable performances came from Tyler Nevin (no. 12 PuRP), who went 3-for-5; Forrest Wall (no. 16 PuRP) who went 2-for-4 with a triple; and Willie Abreu (no. 26 PuRP), who went 2-for-5 with 2 RBI.
While both Hartford and Asheville had their games postponed for the day, the Albuquerque Isotopes had another down day. The team combined for five hits and eleven strikeouts, but Noel Cuevas (HM PuRP) went 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, and a strikeout. Jordan Patterson (no.14 PuRP) also had a hit, a run, and two strikeouts.
