Rockies prospects Chad Spanberger, Sean Bouchard power Asheville Tourists to win

The Asheville Tourists have had a rough start this season. However their power hitters have lived up to the expectations. Chad Spanberger, Casey Golden and Ramon Marcelino have continued to showcase their impressive power tools that caught everyone’s eyes last season in Grand Junction. Spanberger hit his fourth home run last night to bring his slugging percentage up to .527. Golden and Marcelino didn’t go deep but recorded two hits each. Their respective slugging percentages now sit at .624 and .606.

Sean Bouchard has been added to the mix after playing for Boise last season and while he has not displayed the same prolific power yet, he did hit his third home run of the season last night as well.
