The Rockies victory over the Giants in the first game of this series wasn’t official till this morning in the Mountain Time Zone. So for those who managed to stay up till the end of last night’s game this will hopefully be the second time we’ll get to see the Rockies beat the Giants in one day.
Kyle Freeland will take the mound for the Rockies against Derek Holland for the Giants. Freeland has been a dominant force for the Rockies after overcoming his early season struggles and will look to continue that tonight. For more on Freeland, be sure to check out Jordan’s piece on him that went up earlier today. Ideally, his elusive mix of pitches will stymie the Giants hitters and the Rockies can win a quick one tonight. However, this is AT&T Park we’re talking about so be prepared for all sorts of crazy.
