Rockies prospect Jordan Patterson homers for third time in four days

Triple-A prospect Jordan Patterson (no. 14 PuRP) homered for the third time in four days and collected three RBI in a Monday morning matinee. Raimel Tapia also contributed two hits and scored all three times he was on base. Tapia now has five hits in his last two games as the Triple-A PuRPs continue to hit well.

Peter Lambert (no. 4 PuRP) also had a strong showing on the mound for the Yard Goats throwing six scoreless innings with 6 Ks, lowering his ERA for the season to 1.83. It was his fourth consecutive start pitching more than five innings.
