Colorado Rockies game no. 57 thread: Tyler Anderson vs. the Dodger bullpen

Lineups, discussion, and updates from Friday’s game between the Rockies and Dodgers

MLB: Cincinnati Reds at Colorado Rockies Russell Lansford-USA TODAY Sports

The Rockies welcome the Los Angeles Dodgers to Coors Field for the first time all season. That’s correct. Thanks to the weird schedule, June 1 is the first time the Dodgers have had to venture to Colorado. The Rockies have only played three games against the Dodgers all season when they went 1-2 there in the middle of May. With the Dodgers starting to get hot, it’s important for the Rockies to take at least a series win this weekend to put some extra distance between them.s

Tyler Anderson starts for the Rockies after recording a quality start in his last outing. Scott Alexander is listed as the starter for the Dodgers, but as a reliever, he’s not expected to pitch very deep into tonight’s game. The Dodgers are planning on using their bullpen to get through tonight's game with Kenta Maeda being placed on the DL and unable to make tonight’s start.
