The Colorado Rockies go for the series victory today in Philadelphia as they take on the Phillies at 11:05 am MT. Good time for some morning baseball!
Germán Márquez will take the mound for the Rockies and Vince Velasquez will start for the Phillies. Both players hoping to recover from less-than-stellar outings last Friday. Márquez went just four innings giving up five runs on six hits, including three home runs against the Diamondbacks. Velasquez was lit up for 10 runs in 3 2⁄3 innings against the Brewers.
Nolan Arenado will start the game on the bench and Ryan McMahon will get the start as manager Bud Black stacks the lineup with lefties (and gives Nolan a day off for once).
