After a rough loss on the road yesterday, the Rockies are back home to start a big three-game series against the Diamondbacks. The D-backs are 0.5 games ahead of the Rockies for first place in the National League West. German Márquez gets the start against Zack Greinke.
There was also a bit of roster news prior to the game. The Rockies have placed Mike Dunn on the disabled list and have called Jeff Hoffman back up to the majors. Hoffman is listed as available out of the bullpen.
