The returns of Ryan McMahon and David Dahl have represented a boon to the Colorado Rockies’ offense. McMahon’s performance on Thursday night, in particular, marked a highlight of the 2019 season so far. All of McMahon’s at-bats resulted in a ball in play with an exit velocity over 100 mph. McMahon’s two home runs and five runs batted in were both career highs. McMahon had felt he was getting into a groove prior to his stint on the Injured List, but it appears he hasn’t missed a beat.

For Hartford, Scott Burcham collected his first extra-base hit of the year— a go-ahead two-run double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Yard Goats a 4-3 victory over New Hampshire.
Despite a grand slam from Casey Golden in the eighth inning, Lancaster was no match for the Visalia offense.
