SB Nation’s FanPulse survey shows a lot of Rockies optimism

Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Rockies fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

In the second week of SB Nation’s FanPulse voting, all baseball signups were asked who they believe the NL MVP will be. Reigning MVP Christian Yelich received the most votes, but Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado came in third, with 17% of the vote.

Questions specific to people who signed up through Purple Row were “Are you confident in the direction of the Rockies?” and “Do you approve of the job Bud Black is doing as manager.” Both answers received a perfect 100%, which either indicates an abundance of optimism or a still small sample size of respondents. If it’s the latter, that can improve with more FanPulse signups.

We’ll have more results next week.
