The Rockies (22-25) look to complete their first three-game sweep on the road as they take on the Pirates (24-22) this afternoon morning in Pittsburgh. Game time is set for 10:35am MT so I hope you set your alarm clocks (or are prepared to pay only nominal attention to your actual work).
Antonio Senzatela takes the mound for the Rockies coming off a solid five inning performance on Saturday in which he allowed just two Phillies runs (one earned) en route to a loss. Opposite him is Jordan Lyles—remember him?—who sports a, let me double check this, 1.97 ERA in eight starts over 45 2⁄3 innings this season, which includes 47 strikeouts.
After losing four in a row, taking a sweep into a weekend series with the lowly Orioles would be a welcome development.
