After a blowout win last night, the Rockies will look to do two things against the Cubs today — sweep and earn their 11th straight home win, which would tie the franchise record set in 1996. Antonio Senzatela will look to keep the momentum going against Cubs’ lefty Cole Hamels. Hamels was traded from the Rangers to the Cubs last year on July 27th. So far in 2019, he has started 13 games. In those 13 games, he owns a 5-2 record with a 3.24 ERA and 74 strikeouts. The Cubs are 9-4 when he starts. Senzatela has pitched 11 games for the Rockies this season and owns a 5-4 record with a 4.95 ERA and 33 strikeouts. The Rockies are 7-4 when he takes the mound. If the Rockies win today, they will also win the season series against the Cubs.
