It’s wrong for the Colorado Rockies to not play on the Fourth of July | Rox Pile
As we celebrate America, it feels strange to not view America’s pastime with the Rockies. The Rockies and baseball are always ready to celebrate other holidays during the season, so it was odd to see a day off on the Fourth. Sure, it’s great for the players to have the time off to do what they will with the holiday, but it feels weird as a fan to not watch the Rockies play before the fireworks start. With the All Star Game right around the corner, it’s interesting that the Rockies got Thursday off, but one thing’s for sure: fan will be ready to watch the Rockies play on Friday.
