Colorado Rockies game no. 132 thread: Julio Teheran vs. Tim Melville

Will we see some more Melville Magic in his Coors Field debut?

After a disappointing four game sweep at the hands of the St. Louis Cardinals over Players’ Weekend, the Rockies will look to rebound in a make up game against the Atlanta Braves. The Braves are in the midst of an eight game winning streak that includes taking two of three from the Dodgers and back-to-back sweeps of the Marlins and Mets. This game was originally scheduled for April 10, but was rained out and rescheduled. Tim Melville will make his Coors Field debut and will look to stop this skid. He will pitch against veteran right-hander Julio Teheran, who has an 8-8 record and a 3.53 ERA in 27 starts in 2019. In his last outing against Miami, Teheran pitched seven innings of no-run baseball. He walked three but struck out nine Marlins in the Braves’ victory. Today’s game is on YouTube again, so hopefully Tim Melville is able to continue his YouTube stardom and work some more magic.
