Well, this is it for 2019. The Rockies finish their season today against the Brewers. If the Rockies win and the Padres lose, the Rockies will finish alone in fourth place. If the Rockies lose and the Padres win, it’s a last place finish for the Rockies. If both the Rockies and Padres win or lose, then the two teams will finish tied. I suppose the glass half full people will say it’s a fourth place tie, while the glass half empty folks will call it a tie for last place. Anyway, those are the stakes!
Jeff Hoffman will get the start for the Rockies, which is nice to see given that he exited his last start on a cart. Adrian Houser gets the ball for the Rockies.
