Fact: Nolan Arenado and Trevor Story are two of the best major league baseball players at their positions. Arenado has so many accolades that I’m pretty sure he needs a whole room for all of his hardware, whereas Trevor Story is just getting started with back-to-back Silver Sluggers, but he’s just getting started. Undoubtedly, without these two players, the Rockies would be a completely different team.
Who could ever forget Trevor Story’s back-to-back-to-back-to-back home runs to start off his rookie season in 2016, including his first against Zack Greinke in Arizona? Or his three-homer game on September 6, 2018, against the Giants that included the 505-footer? Or all those crazy defensive plays he makes? It’s always a great day to be a Story.
What about Nolan’s walk-off cycle on Father’s Day 2017? Or his “tarp grab” in 2015 at then-AT&T Park? Or really anything else he does on a daily basis? #NolanBeingNolan
