Sunday’s broadcast went dark again, but the game got pretty dark too. You wouldn’t have wanted to watch this one anyway.
What went wrong?
Basically all of the things.
The Sim Rockies were down 5-0 after two innings.
Sim Antonio Senzatela was pulled before recording an at-bat.
Sim Jake McGee gave up five runs in 1.1 innings and was 0-1 at the plate.
Sim Trevor Story, Sim Raimel Tapia, Sim Ryan McMahon, and Sim Tony Wolters combined to go 2-for-20 with six strikeouts.
What went right?
Sim David Dahl was 3-for-5 with a home run.
Sim Charlie Blackmon was 3-for-5 with a double and a triple.
Sim Ian Desmond did not strike out a single time (he walked in his only plate appearance).
None of the Sim Reds pitchers got a hit.
Where do we go from here?
The Sim Rockies will look to put this sad episode behind them as they head home to host the Sim Francisco Giants on Monday night. We won’t have a broadcast for you, but we’ll have a recap of the simulation—it’s bound to be better than Sunday’s fiasco.
Up next
We’ll be back on YouTube for the second game of the Sim Giants series on Tuesday night. Tune in to see if the Sim Rockies can break their losing streak!
