Colorado Rockies simulation game no. 83 thread: Chi Chi González vs. Randy Dobnak

The Rockies are looking for back-to-back sweeps!

After beating the Sim Twins 4-3 yesterday, the Sim Rockies are in line for their second sweep in as many series and seventh win in as many games. Yes, you read that correctly — the Sim Rockies have not lost a game this week. Hopefully that streak can continue today! Chi Chi González (2-6, 5.33 ERA) will take the mound for the Sim Rockies at Target Field against the Sim Twin’s rookie right-hander Randy Dobnak (6-2, 3.02 ERA). Dobnak made his major league debut last August and started five games for the Twins. He pitched 28 13 innings in nine total appearances. He had an ERA of 1.59 in those appearances, only giving up five earned runs (one of which was a home run). He also struck out 23 batters and only walked five. He seems to be off to a pretty good start this season so far with a 6-2 record and 3.02 ERA, so let’s see if the Sim Rockies are able to get to him and keep this winning streak alive!
