Goldsberry is 6’4” and 215 pounds who did well during his abbreviated college season, throwing 10 scoreless innings over seven games. He also only walked one batter while striking out eight. His fastball averages 90-95 mph, and he also has a change up and slider. (You can see a more comprehensive breakdown of his college stats here.)

He has participated in the Rockies Scout Team as did Case Williams and Luke Leisenring and is the third local player the Rockies have signed in 2020.
Goldsberry earlier announced his signing on Twitter:
So grateful for the opportunity to live out my childhood dream of representing my hometown team. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way and helped me get to where I am today. Go Rockies! pic.twitter.com/t8macrKrI1
