Colorado Rockies game no. 33 thread: Adrian Morejón vs. Antonio Senzatela

Rockies will try to bounce back in Game 2 from 10-4 loss in the series opener

The Rockies and Padres continue their series at Coors Field tonight with Antonio Senzatela and Adrian Morejón on the hill for each team.

In his career against San Diego, Senzatela has put up nice numbers against the Padres. He holds a 7-1 win-loss record along with a 3.10 ERA against the team. Senza’s most recent appearance against San Diego came on Aug. 2, where he pitched six innings, gave up one run and struck out six in the Rockies 9-6 victory. The Rockies will look to him to get the team back in the win column.

For the Padres, Morejón will unexpectedly be making his third start this season after a rough second outing against the Houston Astros. Last Sunday, the 21-year-old left hander allowed three runs in just 1 23 innings pitched and now carries a 5.79 ERA into tonight’s matchup.
