The Rockies are on a three straight series victory streak heading into tonight’s game against the Giants. The Rockies ended their home opener weekend with a series win over the Padres, improving their record to 6-2 and leading the NL West.
Chi Chi González will take the mound for his first start for the Rockies this season. In 12 starts last season, González was 2-6 with a 5.29 ERA and 1.45 WHIP, and is is 0-2 with a 4.50 ERA against the Giants.
Johnny Cueto will be making his seventh start since July 2018 for the Giants after returning from Tommy John surgery. Cueto is 9-3 with a 2.67 ERA and 5-2 with a 3.26 ERA when pitching at Coors Field.
