Colorado Rockies game no. 13 thread: Antonio Senzatela vs. Yusei Kikuchi

Rockies roll into Seattle looking for another series win

The Rockies have started the shortened season off with a bang winning each of their first four series. They will head to Seattle with a record of 9-3, good for first place in the NL West, a mere half-game ahead of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Pitching has been a real strength for the team as the starting rotation ranks second in the NL in ERA. Antonio Senzatela will take the mound in tonight’s matchup looking for his third win in as many tries. Senzatela is performing at a high level and comes into the game with a season line of 2-0, 11 IP, 2.45 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, 9 K.

Yusei Kikuchi, who really struggled in his first season in the MLB, will get the start for Seattle. Kikuchi has made notable improvement on his fastball velocity in the off-season and has shown some signs of improvement in early-season action so far, going 0-0 with an ERA of 4.66.
