The Rockies have added Ryan Castellani to the starting rotation, who will be making his MLB debut tonight in Game 2 against the Mariners. Castellani replaces Chi Chi González in the rotation, who was placed on the Injured List on Friday. Last season, Castellani made 10 starts and posted am 8.31 ERA in his time with the Albuquerque Isotopes.
Nick Margevicius is set to make his first start for Seattle. Although Margevicius is new to the Mariners, he previously faced the Rockies last year while donning a Padres uniform. In his three starts against the Rox, he went 0-2 with a 16.55 ERA. In the offseason he was claimed by the Mariners, where he will now be taking over the sixth spot in the team’s rotation.
