After last night’s exciting walk off grand slam courtesy of Charlie Blackmon, the Rockies will try to keep the momentum going as they keep their eye on a spot in the playoffs. Kyle Freeland has the ball tonight as he makes his 10th start this season. Freeland had a great start on Monday, though it was a no decision, against the San Diego Padres. His final line on Monday night was 6 IP/ 3 H/ 3 BB/ 6 SO with a 3.60 ERA.
Tonight, opposite of Freeland is Jaime Barría. In four games, two of which being starts, Barría is 0-0 with a 3.38 ERA. He has pitched against the Rockies once before in his career back in May of 2018. In that start, Barría shut out the Rockies, gave up just five hits, and earned the win.
