Monday marks the third time that the Rockies will have a weather-related postponement on their schedule, as the team just announced that tonight’s matchup against the Padres will be postponed and rescheduled as a doubleheader on Wednesday, May 12 starting at 1:10pm MDT.

After getting swept at the hands of Nolan Arenado’s Cardinals, perhaps this isn’t a bad thing. The Rockies and Padres also play each other hard, especially at Coors, so this might give the Rox a chance to mentally prepare for what could be a wild series.
With this postponement, Antonio Senzatela would likely start Tuesday night’s matchup, and then Jon Gray and Austin Gomber would start each game of the doubleheader.
