If April showers bring May flowers, then what do May showers bring? Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately?), at the moment, they bring us another doubleheader in two weeks for the Rockies. Their series-opener against the Mets on April 16 was also postponed to a doubleheader due to a snowstorm, and tonight’s contest against the Giants has been postponed due to rain in the Denver metro area.

Germán Márquez, who was scheduled to pitch tonight, will start Game 1 for the Rockies tomorrow. The starter for Game 2 has not been named yet, but with No. 2 starter Antonio Senzatela on the IL with a groin injury, Bud Black indicated that they would utilize someone from the Alternate Site in his place.
