After walking it off in the tenth inning last night, the Colorado Rockies will look to win their sixth straight game tonight against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Adrian Houser (4-5, 3.62 ERA) will take the mound for Milwaukee with the unenviable task of facing the Colorado lineup at Coors Field. Houser has been on a bit of a hot stretch, posting a 1.71 ERA over his last four outings that included three starts. In his one career outing against the Rockies, Houser allowed just one hit and no runs in his four innings of work.

Aceton - I mean Austin Gomber (6-5, 3.54 ERA) will take the ball for the home team as he looks to build on his very impressive stretch over the last seven weeks against the Brewers. Since May 1st, Gomber has an ERA of 2.19, WHIP of 0.83, 0.68 walks per nine innings, and a home ERA of 0.00.

Gomber has put up unprecedented numbers this season at Coors Field. In five starts he is 3-1 with a 0.95 ERA and has posted a 0.81 WHIP in 2813 innings pitched. And that includes his April 4th start against the Dodgers in which he walked seven hitters and allowed three runs, one earned, in his three innings pitched. Gomber hasn’t allowed a run in his last 24 innings pitched at home, he has been flat-out dominant and will look to continue that trend tonight.
