Affected by Altitude: Dawn of the Second Half - 71 Games Remain

It’s time to kick off the second half of the season with a new episode of Affected by Altitude for your ears!

The Purple Row podcast Affected by Altitude is back for 2021 with all new hosts. Staff writers Evan Lang, Skyler Timmins, and Mac Wilcox are incredibly proud and excited to be lending their voices to more great Purple Row content for you to enjoy.

This week, we wrap up the All-Star Break with our thoughts on the Midsummer Classic, set our expectations for the second half of the season, and get frustrated with the things our interim general manager says. Meanwhile, the trade deadline and tough decisions for the Colorado Rockies loom ever closer. Plus Evan’s voice sounds a little weird because it turns out three days of drinking and screaming isn’t great for the vocal chords.

Affected by Altitude is a weekly or bimonthly podcast featuring roundtable discussion, game segments, interviews, and the occasional hot take from a group of Purple Row contributors. We live in different places, have varying backgrounds, and may or may not have spent way too much money at the All-Star Game. Regardless, we are all united in our love of the Rockies and a desire to provide Purple Row readers with a fresh new voice.
